The Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation is celebrating a historic milestone for kids’ health with the Government of Alberta’s announcement of a land location for a new, stand-alone Stollery Children’s Hospital on the University of Alberta’s South Campus.
“After years of planning and working with the Government of Alberta, this is a historic moment for kids’ health and for every family who has ever walked through the doors of the Stollery,” says Karen Faulkner, president & CEO, Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation. “We are incredibly grateful to the Government of Alberta and the University of Alberta for making this land announcement possible.”
To mark this milestone, the Foundation is proud to launch No Bounds, a once-in-a-generation comprehensive campaign to raise $1 billion to transform children’s health across Alberta, Western Canada and beyond.
“This campaign will help build the new Stollery,” said Faulkner, “but it will also go further, because we believe kids deserve no bounds on their potential. Building a place from the ground up for kids will make care easier to access, allow for more spaces that reduce anxiety and heal hearts and bring together the best minds in medicine, research and innovation.”
No Bounds is the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation’s most ambitious endeavour yet. It’s a quest to raise $1 billion to redefine what’s possible in pediatric care when health care, research and academia come together. By harnessing the energy of the Stollery community to build a world-renowned pediatric institution, the Stollery will be established as a global destination for excellence and offering boundless hope for kids and families.
